About Me
>I'm Panda-Chan! I love jfashion, j-rock, anime, manga, animals, and making cute things. I own a small business called Panda Fuzz on Etsy and Storenvy.
I had never been to AnimeUSA before, but it was most certainly worth the trip! I have been a fan of Kaya since late 2010/early 2011 and I finally got to meet him! Anyway, I had the VIP badge and a ticket to the exclusive tea party being held on Sunday of the convention. On Saturday, the VIP holders all got their picture with Kaya. You could choose between a small picture or a "checki" as they called it or a professional picture which was a little bigger than the checki. I chose the checki. Below is my checki photo scanned in high resolution. I think Hora (left) liked my visual kei outfit because when it was my turn, before I began to walk forward he was like "Hi." lol
Anyway, unfortunately, I got the times confused (as ONLY I could) and missed the concert. I wanted to cry. I made it to the autograph session where I purchased a poster for $10.00 (good buy!). I told Kaya about how I accidentally missed his show due to getting the times mixed up. The translator translated to him. He turned back to me and took both of my hands in his with an expression of sympathy. The translator told me that he said he wants to return to the United States soon. So there's always next time! Below are the items I purchased. The stickers came with the CD (Yay!). A few of the items were given to me at the tea party.
On Sunday was the tea party. Each attendee who was also a VIP holder received an autographed photo of Kaya (shown in the image above). Each tea party attendee received an envelope with a note in it signed by Kaya. Shortly after being seated, a server came and asked everyone what they wanted to drink. Kaya took the time to sit at each and every table for a few minutes and personally spoke with each person sitting there. When it was our table's turn there was a free chair next to me so guess who I got to sit next to? Upon sitting down, he instantly noticed my Usakumya rucksack and then proceeded to pet her. Not too long after that, everyone was given their own plate of tasty treats. Kaya then performed three songs as we enjoyed our food. Those songs in order were "Chocolat ~Sweet Version~," "Silvery Dark," and "Transmigration."
After the tea party was over, everyone was allowed to get a picture with Kaya. I told him how I loved to sing as well and how seeing him perform inspired me to work even harder. The translator translated and he spoke back and she told me that he said "Let's work hard together!" ^-^
Even though I missed the Schwarz Stein concert, I still had a whole lot of fun! Kaya is such a sweetie pie! I really hope that Kaya comes back very soon. He is such an inspiration! Also, I usually wear sweeter lolita styles, but now I want to try gothic.

Hime Lolita Rose Key Necklace by Panda Fuzz Anyone who is familiar with me and my store know that sweet, sugary items are more or less my forte; however, I decided to take a shot at making something more suited for the hime lolitas. Afterall, I did hime lolita when I debuted as a lolita back at Tekkoshocon 2011. Ah....that was a good year. That was the year that lix came and performed for us. I miss them. =(
